Great experience except for one curve ball My overall experience at Bennett was great. Evan, who initially discussed my interested vehicles of choice with me (after I purposely went into the lo My overall experience at Bennett was great. Evan, who initially discussed my interested vehicles of choice with me (after I purposely went into the lot by myself to look over what they had PRIOR to introducing myself to a sales associate). Was knowledgeable and helpful enough to make me want to return two days later. He was tied up at the time of my second visit, so in order to expedite my wanting to further persue a particular Colorado, he hooked me up with his peer, "Wild" Bill Smith. Well, I tamed 'Wild" Bill in no time at all and we spent over 4 hours together. What could have been a grueling experience moved along smoothly. Then after financing was approved, I met Justin. A nice fellow who moved things along rather quickly until... THE CURVE BALL came. My only gripe and it has nothing to do with Justin, Bill, or Evan. I came into the dealership that day intending to buy a vehicle. I came wiuth a CASHIER's check for $5,000.00 written out to BENNETT Chevrolet, so NOBODY ELSE could cash that GUARANTEED check from Bank of America. But when it came time to use it as a down payment, the hassles I was put through because my WIFE purchased the GUARANTEED CASHIER's check was an absolute embarrassment They made me scan and e-mail a third party payment letter to my wife, who was in Boston at a seminar so she could go to her hotel's business center to get a copy of the e-mail attachment printed out so she could sign it, photograph the signed copy and e-mail it back to Bennett. In the end the sale went through but the additional hours of phone calls, e-mails, scrambling, etc after already spending over four hours .at the dealership was unprofessional and uncalled for. All over a GUARANTEED CASHIERS check written out to only Bennett Chevrolet. Nobody else could ever had been able to cash it except for Bennett! So my rating score for Bill, Evan, and Justin is a FIVE. For Bennett's policy and procedure, they only get a one. More
