We believe in showing you the actual factory invoice because we believe a “Full Disclosure” approach provides you with the honesty and integrity that you deserve. We never use a second inflated sticker for items such as stripes or door edge guards just to create false discounts. Bennett's Non Commissioned sales team will show you the factory invoice to show you GM MSRP, the genuine invoice price, and we show you what a GM Supplier Employee would pay. We then use the GM Supplier Price, creating a price that no other dealer would even consider. Our friendly staff saves you hours by eliminating the back and forth process found in most other dealerships. At Bennett, even vehicles like the Corvette Stingrays are priced below MSRP. We would never allow you to pay an additional mark-up just because the vehicle is high demand. Was quoted over the phone a price of $490 for the repair. When i picked up my truck the cost was $756. I would never have told them to do the repair for that amount of money. This was a thermostat replace More

I believe this requires a bit more context as it has been researched and found that you were given the quote of $490 plus the diagnostic charge and we were given (begrudgingly) the go ahead to move forward. We try to be a transparent as possible with our pricing so that there is no miscommunications. We personally spoke yesterday and I did try on behalf of a loyal customer to try and help but there are unfortunately things that need to be done to access the part that needs to be changed, which in turn requires more labor time (which was accounted for) in the original quote. I apologize we couldn't discount the service we provided you after the fact, at the figures you thought you should pay. When I was told "$490 to replace the themostat", me and any other intelligent person would take that as the total cost for the new themostat is $490. There was no mention of other charges. Then when i show up to pick up my vehicle im told the cost is $756. Thats xx. Why was the original over the phone quote not given as $756? Because at that price I would have told you not to do the job and gone elsewhere. $756 for a new thermostat is robbery.
