Didnt want to take the drive.. but I did..I felt discouraged still, I met with Scott, who's energy changed the whole atmosphere. I always wanted my dream car,A Dodge Challenger all white.. Scott made it happen with little money down..Scott wasnt pushy, wasnt ignoring me didnt judge me help me get what I wanted.. I never thought I was going to be a driver of a high performance sports car of my dreams.. I still tear up a little.. I bought a new car in 2001, and he wouldn't talk to me for a week. He said the dealerships wouldn't give you a good deal, and your trade-in is severly undervalued. Markups are hidden, so you only think you are getting a good deal. Then last month Uncle Randy pulled into work in a brand new car. The first time I have ever seen him in a new car, mind you, and he is 60 years old! Better yet, Randy traded in a vehicle! Well, now I was paying attention. He went to Bettenhausen and they were able to work out a deal on a new Caravan better than he could have ever imagined and then worked out an even better deal for his trade-in. He spent more time talking music and cars with the sales manager, Mike Kass than they did working out a deal. So when I told him I was looking to buy a new Pacifica, he demanded that I talk to Mike at Bettenhausen before I made a decision. I am glad I did. Mike was upfront about the costs of the vehicle and which rebates and incentives were available. He also recommended a trim level where I could get "the best bang for the buck." We had a deal worked out in about an hour. More
