1 star. Absolutely miserable experience with Carl Burger Jeep RAM, specifically with FRANCISCO DIMAS AND JESSE IN SALES. This dealership has some of the wors Absolutely miserable experience with Carl Burger Jeep RAM, specifically with FRANCISCO DIMAS AND JESSE IN SALES. This dealership has some of the worst customer service and sales attitude I’ve dealt with. Francisco Dimas and Jesse in sales were extremely smug, difficult to work with, and most importantly DISHONEST. This dealership will do the classic tactic of bait and switch on you, which they did to me. I made an offer on the car I was trying to purchase, a Fiat 500X that had been on their lot for over 100 days, and instead of negotiating professionally, I was met with rude, condescending responses, no meaningful counteroffer, and an overall attitude that made it seem like they were offended a customer would even try to discuss price. Then, they RAISED the price of the car by 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS. Seriously. And when I asked them about the price increase, I was given a bunch of excuses about market conditions, Blue Book values, and scarcity, all of which didn’t make any sense or were not true. The entire interaction felt slippery and arrogant. It did not feel like honest sales communication. It felt like talking to people who wanted to lecture me instead of sell a car. Just the whole tone from their staff was incredibly and unnecessarily dismissive and demeaning. Telling a customer “that price doesn’t get you this vehicle” and refusing to engage in a straightforward, respectful negotiation is not good customer service. You can decline an offer without talking down to people. Plenty of dealerships understand that. This one apparently does not. They even said they would accept my offer if I had a wholesaler dealer license but not if I was buying it in a retail transaction, which just shows that all these guys wanted to do was play games with me. Why would I need a dealer license for you to accept my offer? Just sell me the car. By the end of the exchange I was honestly blown away by how poor the customer service was. I was interested in buying the vehicle, but they made the process so unpleasant and combative that I walked away. Negotiating is a normal part of buying a car. Acting insulted that a customer made an offer is absurd. If you are firm on price, say that respectfully and move on. Do not talk down to people, RAISE the price by 4 thousand dollars and pretend that is professionalism. Their attitude alone was enough to make me never want to deal with them again. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere, but if you do somehow find your way here, make sure to double check the numbers and STAY AWAY FROM AND DONT DEAL WITH FRANCISCO DIMAS OR JESSE IN SALES.
