Typical used car sales scams...I called to make sure the Typical used car sales scams... I called to make sure the truck I wanted was available. I was told it was and it would be up front when I got there. Typical used car sales scams... I called to make sure the truck I wanted was available. I was told it was and it would be up front when I got there. I drove 45 minutes with gas and tolls to get there and not only was the truck not pulled up but I waited another 45 minutes for them to find it but then they didn't have keys for it and it hadn't even been cleaned from the last owner. I left and told the sales manager John about my horrible experience. He apologized as said he would get it cleaned up and call me Monday and that I would deal directly with him. Tuesday I hadn't heard back so I called him and he pawned me off on a sales man. Didn't care at all about wasting my time before. Hours later the salesman finally called me back with an out the door price and it went from the advertised $21,000 to almost $29,000. Then I was told if I didn't finance with them it would be almost $2k more. Well over $7k in fees and taxes on a 21k truck... That's a scam!!! So I told them to keep the truck and drove to Ferman Chevrolet in Tarpon Springs and bought a brand new one with 34k less miles and more options for just over $2k more out the door. Oh and I didn't have to finance with them either. Don't get scammed by Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram!!!!!! Don't waste your time. See my review of Ferman. It took me longer to drive there than it did to buy a brand new truck. More
