I purchased a new 2020 Grand Cherokee TrailHawk. I traded a 2018 GC Altitude. When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed the cargo cover was not present in the rear of the vehicle. This was a standard feature o a 2018 GC Altitude. When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed the cargo cover was not present in the rear of the vehicle. This was a standard feature of the Altitude. I asked my sales consultant about the missing cover. He told me that it did not come with that model vehicle. I looked online at the webpage listing for the vehicle I just purchased and it listed the cargo cover as a standard interior feature. I pointed this out to the sales consultant. He told me that, after checking with management, it was not standard and was an add on. This is frustrating as it is clearly listed on the web page. I provided the sales consultant with photographs of the webpage. Nonetheless, I was told that the cargo cover did not come with the car. Well it is certainly the prerogative of management to decide what to offer, or not offer, the fact that it was listed on the webpage makes this misleading. No offer was made to provide me with the cargo cover, after the fact. I am a second time customer. There was no effort made to ameliorate the situation. This episode has marred the entire experience with this dealership. I dealt with Eldar in finance. The only complaint in this regard was he did not have his face fully covered with his face mask during the transaction. More
