Bought a brand new 2016 Subaru Forester In October 2015 my wife and I needed a new car. We had sold her 1998 Volvo station wagon and were looking to replace it. We wanted something similar - a large, safe vehicle with storage space, but something with substantially better gas mileage. We did a lot of research and test driving, and Cityside Subaru, specifically Mark Lidano, provided us with a great experience all around. After test driving the Forester, it was our preferred vehicle, and after visiting a number of dealers, Mark was by far our favorite sales representative. Throughout the deliberation and negotiating processes Mark was great. He did not make us feel pressured, he was easy going, and he knew his stuff. We would highly recommend purchasing your next Subaru at Cityside! More

He was faced with two dif My senior mom showed up at Cityside to look for a car, with 40-something me in tow. We started talking to Mark Lidano. He was faced with two difficult tasks. (1) Talking about cars with an elderly woman who was really not that interested in cars, and not particularly knowledgeable about them; and (2) Not running afoul of her opinionated 40-something son who was a bit of a car nut but was doing his best to keep his mouth shut and stay out of the way. Things actually went great. Mark helped my mom navigate various options, including models and equipment and which combinations were available or not. He clearly knew his product inside and out. Mark also kept me engaged, even while Mark and I were both careful to make sure that my mom was getting what she wanted, not what we thought she needed. He communicated everything necessary. He was respectful, direct, and a model of patience. Not for a moment did my mom and I feel like we were being pressured to do anything at all. In the end, I believe that my mom wound up with just the right car, including the right model, color, interior, options, and so on. (When she's not looking, I'll slip an STI engine into it and see if she notices!) Anyway, my highest marks for Mark. I'd recommend Mark and Cityside without hesitation. More
