Second opinion needed before getting work done because recommended work may not be required. I had NC State Inspection done February 21, 2023. Passed inspection but SUV needed "immediate attention" for recommended work may not be required. I had NC State Inspection done February 21, 2023. Passed inspection but SUV needed "immediate attention" for rear brake pads near limit (2 mm each). Took SUV to Firestone to have rear brake pads replaced and both brake pads measured 6 mm. No work needed. Second, on May 8, 2023 the Kia service shop said front wheel "Alignment Required". Again, I took car to Firestone to have front wheel alignment done. Firestone checked front wheel alignment and it was good. No work needed. Lesson learned = get second opinion. More

My current Kia is the first make car I've owned, other than a Honda, in 25 years, I was a die-hard Honda owner. Honda is also where I first worked with Bob Tomlin in service. Since buying my Kia and wor than a Honda, in 25 years, I was a die-hard Honda owner. Honda is also where I first worked with Bob Tomlin in service. Since buying my Kia and working with Bob again in the service area, I may well be a die-hard KIA owner now. The car is great, Bob has been on top of all the service requirements and has taken his time to be sure I understand what needs to be done, why, and what the cost is going to run. I typically drop the car off, catch the shuttle and then I'm picked up later in the day. The shuttle experience is a pleasure too, quick to be available, Kelly, the driver, is a great person to talk with during the commute and and then quick to respond for a pickup. The overall KIA experience has been first class. More

I had an appointment and arrived before the service department had opened. Several of the employees made a point to say hello. When I pulled in I was greeted and taken right in. He double check with me department had opened. Several of the employees made a point to say hello. When I pulled in I was greeted and taken right in. He double check with me about what was going to be done to the vehicle. After check in he walked me to the waiting area explaining where everything was and if I had any questions to feel free to contact him. I was told approximate completion time but the vehicle was finished ahead of schedule. This was by far the best experience I ever had with any service department. I will be back. More
