I had an oil change & tire rotation done on August 25 2025 where thanks to Darren Van orden to make sure my needs were met while I was at the dealer. It seems the “recall” appointment in which I scheduled weeks in advance was all a waste of time. After speaking with a few Service Dept Rep’s I was finally given the procedure of how my vehicle was going weeks in advance was all a waste of time. After speaking with a few Service Dept Rep’s I was finally given the procedure of how my vehicle was going to be tested for the possible flaw. After coming in to pick up my vehicle (6 hrs later) and asking more questions, Cortese informed me that my vehicle didn’t need any testing done and the entire appointment and a 1/2 day of my time was a waste. I’m still confused that if my vehicle met the recall criteria, how did it all of the sudden not meet it? Wouldn’t my VIN # have all of this info? The Service Dept crew are nice people but no one seemed well versed on this recall. They had to bring a technician out to explain things to me. You would think they would minimally be able to explain the process in detail to a customer? I’m not sure who to be disappointed in; Cortese or Ford? I have yet another active recall now on the truck, once Ford works out the details hopefully I will not come in and get the runaround again. As much as I would like to get new truck, it would be hard to spend the $$ with all of the looming quality issues. I would gripe to Ford (not about the dealer, but about their product) but they make it near impossible to submit a complaint in writing and I highly doubt they would engage Sorry, not what you want to hear, but…… Oh, I was also sent a text early on, when I texted back to see if my vehicle would be ready at 2PM I never received a response I’m not sure Darren in the correct name of the Rep? More

Felt like I stepped back into 1955! Felt like a tremendous bother, while interrupting this Neanderthals' texting, and asking for an estimate on having some parts replaced. When I asked for the specific part by name, this guy gave me a look like I was an idiot. Then asked if it was something different. I told him no, then gave an explanation as to where the part is located. Again, looked at me like I had no idea what I was talking about. He then casually said "Yeah, I'll let them know" with a tone that was obvious he could care less, which was spot on as I never got the quote. Guess if I was a male, we would have been pals and he would have cared to help. **Women- do your selves a favor and take your hard earned money elsewhere! More

I was well taken care of ,I purchased a Ford edge and I love it. My sales guy Massimo Notarpasquale was really good to me ,he went above and behind to make sure I was happy. I have bought 2 Mercury and 7 Lincolns over the years. Wayne has been one of the best people I’ve ever dealt with at Cortese. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and very courteous and pleasant to work with Wayne has been one of the best people I’ve ever dealt with at Cortese. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and very courteous and pleasant to work with.. over the years, I’ve had lots of cars maintained through Cortese with good results. But my last two experiences have caused me to say Corti has come to an end for me. I’ve had two bad experiences with one of the tec. Few months back I had a window problem and it needed a new relay installed. I paid for the relay. They said it would be in in a few days, 4 weeks later I called to find out if the part ever came in. Lo and behold, an hour later I get a call saying it just came in. This last time I had an engine light come on. I know what the problem was but they went ahead and did diagnostics and then told me I needed a new battery which was gonna cost almost $400. I said I could get a cheaper one that was better And the backwoods female tech tells me that I’ll have to have another diagnostic done for another $200+ before the work is done for the engine light. Sorry to say but I think Cortese is going down on there service anymore. My days of giving my money to Cortese has come to and end. A lot better places out there with better service. I’ve dealt with John Cortese directly a couple times and he is a very pleasant and nice person to talk with. Going to miss most people, but not the one that I dealt with the last few times. She needs to learn how to deal with people with a smile once in a while or better yet get another job. More
I was made to feel like I was wasting people’s time there. Headphones were broken and I was told they will not fix or replace them. Salesman was nice but his hands are clearly tied.
