Cortese Ford has always been my dealership although it's across town from my home. When the recall came out recently, I decided to use Cortese instead of the Greece options because I have always been please across town from my home. When my boyfriend scheduled the recall work, he was told it would be "about two hours". He arrived at the appointment time on 11/11/22 at 9am. He was told that it would be about an hour and a half until the part ARRIVED then "a few hours" to have the work completed. THis was a planned recall fix. Why was the part not there? So, he asked if they have a shuttle as he works and could not sit there for that many hours (he had planned on two but, not at least 5!). He was told no. So, he took an uber as that was the only option which cost him about $30. We got a text at 9:18 from Darren stating that if I needed anything I could reply to the text. I texted him back at 9:40am re: my dissatisfaction with the situation outlined above- with the time projected for the service vs what we were told on arrival. I never received a response. At 3:30, my boyfriend had to call another uber to go get the vehicle because I could not leave work to go bring him there and back, across town. So, I texted again at 3:35 to Darren and again, did not get a response. On 11/12, I texted again to ask if anyone monitors this line. I got back "YES Reply STOP to OptOut". I replied "So, why didn't I get a response?". I got back "Thank you for contacting Cortese Ford, we are currently closed..." Then Monday 11/14 at 9am, Darren wrote back and stated "Hi, this is Darren, Ford may email you a survey, I would apprecaite you filling it out as it's my personal report card. I hope everything was OUTSTANDING! Thank you!" There was ZERO recognition of my messages prior or my concerns that it cost me $60 in uber rides to drop off my vehicle for a recall fix. Why could we not get a shuttle or borrow a dealer car for the 5 hours it would take to keep my car at the dealership? This is poor customer service ALL THE WAY AROUND and I will not be returning to Cortese. More

I bought my F 150 through an independent dealer, so I was in in search of a Ford Company Dealer to establish a relationship with where I could rely on for servicing my truck. I have had the collision shop take car of damage done in an accident with a deer. I did not file an insurance claim, so the cost was out of my pocket and a concern to me. I feel they really did a fine job while keeping the price under control. I work in road construction and I'm out of town Mon-thru Fri. The hours are never set in a regular fashion and the miles are always pilling on. So when the opportunity arises it may be on short notice. The service department has always been accommodating to me when I call on them for oil changes and thorough in all other aspects of maintenance.. I appreciate the Cortese dealer as a complete one stop shop style of Ford dealer, yet I realize it is the individual efforts of their workforce that make it so. Efforts like that of my service writer Jack, with whom it seems I am dealing with an old friend everytime I interact with. More
