All the driving was a bit of a drag, but that's how it goes I guess. The first time I brought it in, I mentioned a dealership in SLC told me I needed a new catalytic converter, but I was told here that I goes I guess. The first time I brought it in, I mentioned a dealership in SLC told me I needed a new catalytic converter, but I was told here that I just needed a software update. Needless to say, that didn't work and I had to come back again to be told I actually did need a new catalytic converter. Could've saved me one trip there, but oh well. Such is life. More

Summary: All in person interactions concerning service were great - communication while car was in the shop was a struggle at first Biggest Feedback to Acura: Please explain the possible timetables of how long service should take (ex. if all things go well 2 days, or if these certain things possibly happen could take 6 days, etc.) Clarifying expectations would have made me a happier customer rather than delaying service day by day. I took my 14 year old MDX in for an oil change and mentioned a noise I was hearing from behind the dashboard. I shared that information with Shane who passed it one to the mechanic. Later in the day the mechanic was able to diagnose the source of the noise and Shane was quick to call and let me know along with the repair estimate. All in all, my MDX and I are very happy working with the service group at Courtesy. More
