Awful experience. After 1 month of owning a 2015 TLX purchased from this dealership I needed a new transmission. For some reason you guys attached your name to used 20 After 1 month of owning a 2015 TLX purchased from this dealership I needed a new transmission. For some reason you guys attached your name to used 2015 transmission out of another tlx. Acura knows this specific year of transmission is awful because they attached a 10 year warranty to them. So again why you would put your name behind putting a used one in my car, I will never know. As you can expect, the transmission is absolutely awful. In the 10+ cars I’ve owned it is by far the worst driving experience I’ve ever had. Shifting from 2nd to 3rd has a good 3 second delay and 3 to 4 whines when going into gear. But the transmission light hasn’t come on so you guys don’t care. Furthermore I have recently had the driver side from strut go out and the catalytic converter not operating at correct temperature. You guys must do a really thorough check on your vehicles. Your techs don’t even think there is anything going on with the “new” transmission which is laughable because it’s unbearable to drive. More
Service provider was very kind and accommodating, however because the compressor wasn’t working, they didn’t air up my tires (which were all low) and they didn’t fill my windshield wiper fluid (which was emp because the compressor wasn’t working, they didn’t air up my tires (which were all low) and they didn’t fill my windshield wiper fluid (which was empty). I measure a service center on their response when I cite a problem. On my recent visit for an MDX recall item, I pointed out that I didn't think my recent tire rotation and balance was correctly done. I n a problem. The service department promised to check into it and found that, yes indeed, 2 wheels were slightly out of balance. They corrected the problem at no charge and assured me that if there were any other problems, bring it back for their attention. Good people, trusted service. More
