Mike and Connor in the service department were great. I took my MDX Hybrid in for its 30,000 mile service and got a loaner TLX for the day. My car was returned clean and fresh with all new fluids. Needed a windshield replacement for our 2009 TSX which we figured having done by Courtesy Acura instead of a 3rd party would be best because of the special trim pieces along the side of the windshield. The appointment was for 9:00am and I was told it would only be a couple of hours and decided to wait for the car. The 3rd party didn't arrive until 6:30pm and I was not impressed with how little I was updated throughout the day from the Courtesy Acura rep. One rep told me it would be quick and the other after the replacement was done told me they usually tell customers to just drop off the car and not wait around. We typically are very pleased with the service department at Courtesy Acura, but this time they dropped the ball. It wasn't all their fault since the 3rd party windshield company was involved but there is definitely room for improvement. It was quite inconvenient and made me feel like I was not appreciated as a customer. More
Shane was very attentive to my needs and got me in and out quickly. It was only a simple oil change, tire rotation, and 21-point inspection this time, our first visit to Courtesy Acura, but everything we out quickly. Service department worked with my schedule, and got the work done when requested. The use of Uber is a real plus. Good Service but not timely - communication hard to reach them at first if you try to call. Learned that it was best to text, and then Micheal O would respond quickly which was nice. Summary: All in person interactions concerning service were great - communication while car was in the shop was a struggle at first Biggest Feedback to Acura: Please explain the possible timetables of how long service should take (ex. if all things go well 2 days, or if these certain things possibly happen could take 6 days, etc.) Clarifying expectations would have made me a happier customer rather than delaying service day by day. More
