On Saturday, 11/20/21 my wife and I went to this dealership to purchase a vehicle that they had advertised on their website for $83,805. I test drove the vehicle with my wife and salesman and notice dealership to purchase a vehicle that they had advertised on their website for $83,805. I test drove the vehicle with my wife and salesman and noticed it had over 3,000 miles. Now this is a 2021 Ford F150 Lariat with a Roush performance package with a window sticker at $83,960. When I started negotiations, he said that they will not budge. So we get back to the dealer and start the process and I told the salesman that I want to purchase the vehicle and I’ve been already pre-approved with ford credit since I’ve been a customer with them for almost 20 years. He comes back with a paper scribbled with a bunch of numbers. Now I’m also trading in my current vehicle plus adding $3000.00 cash for a down payment. My wife and I are looking at the paper and the numbers were not making any sense. We asked the salesman what we are paying for this vehicle… He responds your paying the sticker price $83,000 and change. I said just making sure because the numbers on this piece of scratch paper are not adding up. So I took his word. I told him that I don’t want any extras as far as extended warranty, service plans etc. I just want to purchase the vehicle. So we agreed and moved on. Waiting and waiting and finally they were trying to sell me some other services which I told them I’m not interested and I declined. Then the finance manger took us in his office to start the paperwork process. Well I told him I’m not interested in any other services but he still proceeded to try to sell them to me and I declined. Now I feel I’ve been rushed by him to sign here, sign there etc. Very quick process. I get to the last paper to sign and then after I realized that the purchase price of the vehicle is higher than what I was told and agreed upon. So from $83,805 as advertised on their website and from the salesman telling me I’m paying the MRSP Sticker price that’s shown on the vehicle window, now I’m paying $89,805.00. The finance manager looked puzzled when I questioned it. My wife then showed him the advertised price on their website on her phone. The finance manger looks at it and asks her if he could take a picture of that where she’s responds yes and tells us after that it’s a Market Addendum. I got mad and asked what the heck does that mean? I said that’s not what I was told and agreed upon. My wife witnessed this whole deal. We moved on to drive away with the new vehicle as our salesman waiting for us and we asked him what was the price of the vehicle because it was marked up $6000.00 more than what we agreed upon. He responds you should be paying the sticker price as agreed upon. He responds there’s nothing I could do and you have to take it up with financing with my wife as a witness. I filed a complaint with Currie Motors and I get a call the following Monday from the General Manger and explain myself and he states, Well I wasn’t present thru this deal so let me look into it and I’ll get back to you. So then I meet with the Sales Manger that Wednesday and explain the whole scam that took place and at the end he states he believes me and tells me let me investigate the matter and I’ll get back to you. We’ll its now Thursday 12/2/21 and I’m being told there’s nothing they could do. They offered me a 3 year 36,000 mile maintenance plan to try to resolve this and I declined. He told me it’s worth $1000.00. I told them to redo the deal as promised or cut me a check for $6000.00. They pulled a bait and switch scam on me and this is fraud. More
