Hello Alex, I am sorry to hear about you having another issue with your vehicle. I did some investigating to see what happened. My technician explained when he checked for diagnostic codes in your vehicle's computer there were a few different ones. When he performed his diagnostics following Honda’s diagnostic steps, he was able to diagnose one of the codes stored in the computer relating to the purge valve in which we replaced it and was able to clear all the codes and after road-testing none of them returned in which case, the problem was solved. A few days later the light came back on with some misfire codes again. Please keep in mind that the emissions light ties into so many systems and can come on for so many different reasons. After looking into what could be causing another issue, we found that the spark plugs were starting to go wrong, the advisor told me he spoke to you about them but was told your friend that works on race cars replaced them at 50,000 miles, so we overlooked them at that point going off your telling us they were replaced. I am not sure why they went wrong so quickly, maybe we should have checked them either way, even knowing you said they were replaced, that was our fault. A learning experience for the advisor and technician, don’t go off of what someone tells you they did to there vehicle, or they wouldn’t be here asking us to help fix it. I know this was your first and only visit to us, maybe you have a friend that works on your vehicle for you, but if there is anything I can do to help you in the future, please don’t hesitate to ask for me, I would be glad to help you out if you need an engine light scanned and I’ll do it for no charge, to make up for your frustrations you had on this visit.
