We owned and drove a Toyota 2002 RAV4 for eleven years without major problems-just the usual maintenance expenditures. We are huge fans of Toyota autos, having owned a few the past 30 years or so. Our positive experience with the brand brought us back to DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota. Our original thought was that perhaps we would choose a Corolla at this point in time, but also thinking we would take a look at another dealer brand before making a decision. We actually were considering a 2013 RAV4 upon viewing it, but after seeing a 2010 RAV4 Ltd with miles and cost in a good range,( as well as in a red metallic which is pretty spiffy), we opted to make that purchase. Darryn Secor is the sales employee who was just perfect in every way throughout the purchasing process. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable about every aspect of the auto in explanation of it, especially considering our first experience with keyless entry etc. Darryn was simply terrific. On another note, Mike Smith deserves our thanks for mentoring us through the financing process in a way that was very satisfactory to us. An excellent experience all around. Robert and Mary More

I appreciated the way the technology was described. (Less, intimidating than I thought). I liked what I saw, but still not sure of what was out there. When I received a courtesy call, I decided on another visit. I inquired about the Camry SE. Akeem provided all the information for comparisons of the LE and SE. No problem negotiating prices. They were good deals. After several days of corresponding, I came home with the Camry SE. Bottom line, loved the comfort! I guess patience was a virtue for both of us. Also, service with a smile. It's only because of the superb service that my wife and I received from Darryn and Rich that we are posting this. We can't remember the last time that we were greeted by such a friendly group of people at a dealership. As soon as we walked through the door, Darryn introduced himself and asked how he could help us. He was polite, friendly, professional and knowledgable. He was able to answer all of our questions about the Carolla LE we were interested in and did not pressure us in any way. He allowed us all the time we needed for a test ride and ran thru all the options that were included in the car. He also took us over to another lot to check out some other cars that were similar to the one we drove. We had some questions about the financing, but he told us about some options to consider and we worked that out pretty quickly! Ditto for Rich Schiro. He explained about all the extended warranty options and the other plans that Toyota offers and the value that they would provide. We wound up including the extended warranty in our agreement because of his thoroughness and ability to answer our questions about it. He also explained all the other paperwork required to put us in the Carolla quickly and painlessly. Best of all, we were told they could have the car ready to drive home later that afternoon, which was quite a surprise to us. That saved us a second trip back. We were considering buying a Subaru Impreza from the dealership up the road, but we wanted to check out your inventory before we made our choice. I'm glad we did! You guys even came down on the price to match what we worked out with the Subaru salesmen! All in all, we were totally satisfied with the whole car buying experience. We look forward to enjoying our new Carolla for many years to come. It rides great and is just what we were looking for! I can say without a doubt, that we will recommend your dealership to any of our friends or relatives who are interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle. Great job guys... We came to DCH Toyota looking for a reliable car, ideally hybrid (to do our part with the environment), with good gas mileage. Eric Rodriguez was our sales person. Although we missed meeting up with our original sales person, Melissa Sinapi, we were equally pleased with Michael O'Hare. Michael is a GREAT sales person. Because for us the cars sell themselves, and we know exactly what offer we are interested in when we walk into DCH Toyota (this was our third sale here), we do not appreciate or like a "salesman." Michael is extremely knowledgeable and friendly-not pushy in the least which is a real turn off to my husband and I. He also has a good sense of humor. It was a completely relaxed experience - we took 2 visits, many phone calls and a few emails before making a decision and Michael didn't ever try to pressure us into buying. We walked away with a RAV 4 for a great price. Michael also called me and emailed me as promised. I believe Toyota is the only non luxury car that offers free service on the car and free inspection for 2 years which is an additional bonus to buying a Toyota. Toyota makes a great car and Michael O'hare is a great asset to them. More
On 8/30/13 we called ahead and let the staff know we were on our way to see a used SUV on the lot. Much to my surprise, a human being answered the phone! By the time we arrived at the dealership the SUV was on our way to see a used SUV on the lot. Much to my surprise, a human being answered the phone! By the time we arrived at the dealership the SUV was pulled around and Darryn greeted us as we walked in the door. He politely introduced himself and we got right to business. This is important, as we were shopping with a toddler! As we looked at and drove the vehicle we came to see, he had other staff checking out our trade-in. They were very efficient with our time, and everyone we came into contact with was polite. We determined we'd like to purchase the SUV, and in just a short time we had an offer on our trade-in and a price for the SUV. The prices quoted were fair, and in the end I think we got a great deal. There was very little haggling, and Darryn worked with his team to make sure we had a good experience. Darryn knew his job well, and even was able to help another couple at the same time (on 8/30 the sales floor was very busy). We were offered refreshments during this time. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly. Our SUV came with a 12-month service warranty and the remainder of a factory warranty ad we will be takign the truck there for oil changes, etc., but have not yet had experience with the service staff. They did offer us extras (such as extended warranty, paint protection, and pin-striping) but were not pushy and were grateful for our business when we only went for the interior fabric protection (3 kids, 2 soccer teams, 2 baseball teams, 5 hikers, 3 fishers.....much mud!). We would definitely recommend going to DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota and would go to them again if/when we are ready for a new (or new to us) vehicle. Many thanks to Darryn for streamlining the process for us and making it a great experience! He was friendly, polite, and honest and we love this SUV. More

It feels weird saying this, but the buying experience was fine. They took my trade in with a fair price and worked with me on the purchase of a Prius. I called today to get an extension for the back seatbelt and was told just come by and pick it up today. It seems bizarre to have such nice people from a car dealership, but I guess I found one.
