Lack of communication This was an ordeal. I brought the car in for recall service on 5/7/18 and also asked the defective side view mirrors be replaced. Was told they were b This was an ordeal. I brought the car in for recall service on 5/7/18 and also asked the defective side view mirrors be replaced. Was told they were back ordered and I would be called when they arrived. I received no call in months so I called the service department in August and was told that they were still back ordered and had received one but not both mirrors. I received no calls in the meantime. I scheduled my car for a NYS inspection on 10/09/18 and again asked about the mirrors prior to the appointment and was told the service department would find out and call me. I did receive a call and was told on 10/09 that the mirrors would be overnighted and installed with vehicle ready by 12pm on 10/10. This was important because i had to drive the car a long dostance on 10/10. There were more phone calls and vehicle was not ready at noon, was then promised to be ready by 1:30, but still no mirrors. I rescheduled the vehicle to come in on 10/15 and when I scheduled it, I was told it would take 30 minutes. I told the person who scheduled that I had another appointment and needed the car ready no later than 2pm (appointment was at 1pm). I was at the dealership on 10/15 by 1pm, got checked in by 1:05 and was then told it will take at least an hour. I waited an hour and ask about the car at 2:05, was told they couldn’t find one of the mirrors (but nobody called me to tell me while I was waiting). I told the rep I had to leave immediately or I’d miss my medical appointment. He called the service guys and they apparently located the missing mirror and installed it within minutes. I’m not sure what is going on, but there is too much misinformation going on and zero communication. I am honestly considering taking my vehicle to DePaula Chevy after all of this. More

Josephine I have an issue with something not being done. I check my tire pressure when I ask for a tire rotation. My one tire on the drivers front was at 29. When I left it was still on drivers front at 29psi. So the tires were never rotated. Makes me wonder if the oil was changed or did they just stick a sticker in the window. More
