Quick fix I noticed a tire was unusually low and stopped into DeNooyer. The evening crew was able to find the galvanized screw in my tire and patch the hole. Wait four days to get an oil change? I called to get my 2017 Chevrolet in for a NYS Inspection and Oil change. I was told "We are booking into next week"!!!!!!!!!! Who ever heard of wait I called to get my 2017 Chevrolet in for a NYS Inspection and Oil change. I was told "We are booking into next week"!!!!!!!!!! Who ever heard of waiting 4 days to get an oil change? It's not like it is major mechanical work! The female staff that answered the telephone was not sympathetic at all when I told her my "oil life" was low & I am a commuter. She could not have cared less. I guess I will have to go elsewhere for service on my Chevrolet. Too bad the service team is not as good as the sales team. More
Repeat Visit I called to make a service appointment and was told they were booking one week out. I made an appointment for a Friday at 8:00 AM and dropped my car I called to make a service appointment and was told they were booking one week out. I made an appointment for a Friday at 8:00 AM and dropped my car off the night before.. At 2:00 PM on Friday they called me and told me that they didn't have the parts, and that they needed to be ordered. My car was in for brakes - rotors and brake pads. I was told that they would be in on Saturday however, it was too big of a job to be done on Saturday and they would do it on Monday morning. My complaint here is, if my car had been brought in at 8:00 AM which was my "scheduled appointment time" they would have been able to ascertain that the parts needed to be ordered, and ordered them, and I would've been able to pick up my car that evening. Instead what they did was, they brought everybody else's car in for service first (the people who were waiting in the waiting room) and because my car wasn't brought until after lunch time, I'm now without a car for four days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday). MY APPOINTMENT WAS FOR AT 8AM, whether I was there or I wasn't. Why are the people who are in the waiting room more important than me? I am a customer too, and I had a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT!!! Then to top it off, they didn't test drive the car (although they told me they did) because after I got the car home it was doing the EXACT same thing that I had expressed to them when I brought the car in. This is not the first time that I have brought the car in for service and after it being serviced, picked up, and brought home, that I have had to bring it back down because it wasn't completely fixed. When I bring my car in for service I want them to keep it until the car is fixed, and do NOT want to make repeated visits to the dealership because they don't get it right the first time.. More
