This was literally the very WORST experience that I have EVER had in my entire driving life of 39 years. Everything that could have been done wrong by DePaula WAS done wrong. Here’s the list: (1) After a previous appointment saying that my brakes needed to be replaced, I scheduled an appointment to have the brakes and an inspection done, yet DePaula did NOT have the brakes in stock 2 WEEKS later when I arrived for the appointment. (2) Despite the appointment being for brakes, it took an HOUR for anyone to discover and tell me that they didn’t have brakes in stock. (3) When I was finally told they didn’t have brakes in stock for my brake job appointment, it was only after the service rep had already come out to speak to me for me to say no to all the upselling of services that DePaula always does and I was leaving to buy wiper blades that service said I needed to pass inspection. I was at the car end of the property when the service rep yelled to me to come back so he could tell me the bad news that DePaula didn’t prepare for my brake appointment and waited over an hour to tell me. (I told him to complete the inspection and that we will then leave and never come back.) (4) Upon reviewing the inspection report from my car, I learned that the brakes pads of my car had GROWN by 2mm!! In the previous month’s appointment when I was first told that I needed brakes, in written inspection report said the pads where 5mm. Yet for this appointment, the written inspection report said the pads are 7mm. I have both reports in my possession proving the fraud/deception. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION FOR SERVICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE AND WILL BE APPRISING CHEVY CORPORATE OF EVERY ONE OF THESE DETAILS. More
