I received a recall notice from VW, called Dirito to make an appointment. After many phone tag messages, I was able to make an appointment. The Recall Notice said the service would take a about an hour, so I an appointment. After many phone tag messages, I was able to make an appointment. The Recall Notice said the service would take a about an hour, so I planned to wait for my car. Dirito has a very nice waiting room. But when I arrived at the appointed time, the service advisor said it would take half a day and that I can expect it to be done at 3:30 pm. My appointment was 9:20 am. Had the service advisor told me at the time we made the appointment that it would take that long, I would have taken my car to the Oakland dealer. Dirito is in Walnut Creek and I live in Berkeley. Even though they would drop me at BART, the closest BART station to my home and is a mile long walk. Because of the miscommunication the service advisor was able to move my car to an earlier place in the queue, so instead of being done at 3:30, it was done at Noon. I am very appreciative of the service department's flexibility. More

Zack, the salesman was great! I signed the lease without checking the other dealers on the day, as I wanted to be loyal for time spent with me. Hours later (same day), I received an offer from my local (competitor) dealer, with $1,000 more Dealer discount plus a free L2 charger ($650). Next time I'll call around before I sign any deal, and that's on me! My disappointment was Dorito's lack of willingness to appease or match the other dealership. More
