Dirito Brothers scammed me into buying a total lemon. Two full diagnostic reports later, and my used VW needs a new engine. I’ve owned the vehicle for 3 months and put less than 1,500 miles on it. All of these issues were pre existing, and it’s made this car entirely unsafe to drive. A basic pre inspection would not find these things, and they showed me a clean maintenance history. They even claimed it had an oil change before purchase, and 1,500 miles later, the oil is totally burnt out. They let me drive off the lot in a car facing catastrophic engine failure…timing chain over extended, leaking oil, carbon build up everywhere, ripped boots, failed spark plugs and coils, etc. The ABS system is even failing! Alignment issues, etc. The reason I came to a dealer is to purchase a used vehicle with trust and confidence. They let me drive off the lot in an unsafe vehicle despite “standing behind all their cars.” It’s just unacceptable. They sold me a used vehicle in bad faith, knowing full well this was a lemon.
