I had a great overall experience with Dorsch Ford. Brad bent over backwards to accommodate me. Stayed late the first night and answered all my questions. I was looking to buy my first new vehicle. I narrowed my choices down to a Kia Sportage and Ford Escape. I liked Dorsch having Kia and Ford under one roof. My salesperson was Ryan Ratsch. He returned my calls and emails in a timely manner. I finally decided on the Ford Escape. While Dorsch did not have the exact model I wanted on the lot, he was able to find the Escape I did want in 3 business days(which I thought was fast). No complaints from this first time buyer. More

All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Ray showed me the carfax-equivalent and what work had been performed at the shop to make the vehicle run better. Also, it was advertised online at a lower price, and I had to provide a printout of the for-sale page in order to get the advertised price. Aside from that, it was a decent experience. Unfortunately, the used car I was considering does not seem to have been inspected prior to going out on the lot. The salesperson I interacted with insisted that the vehicle had undergone a "125-point" inspection. Not sure what points they checked, since an inspection by an independent mechanic found a nice list of things wrong with this vehicle that were not declared. One of the external blinker lights was out, 3 out of four brakes were leaking fluid, there was a pile of mouse poop and dog food in the air filter enclosure, leaky struts, non-working this, that, and the other thing. The sales people seemed to be unaware that this vehicle was unfit for sale at any price. I would call into question the competency of the service department for missing things that should have been caught. Either that or the paperwork was filled out dishonestly, and the salespeople are trying to peddle crap. This particular vehicle seemed a bit old for a brand dealership, so maybe they'll do the right thing and send it to auction, or fix the problems and make it sale-able without adding too much to the sticker price. Your mileage may vary, but if you're considering a used car make sure to get it inspected at an outside mechanic before purchase. More
