The car buying experience was pleasant and I was extremely pleased with how they treated us. Since we live locally, I decided to have my Hyundai serviced there - and they treated me no differently than they did any other Honda customer. I was impressed to say the least. Even the service team wow'd me! When it came time for me to trade in my car, I knew Dover Honda was the place for me. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to work with Karen. She is outstanding! She's very pleasant to work with, very informative, not your typical "salesperson" whose out to make a sale and doesn't want to listen to what your needs are - she's quite the opposite. She made the entire car buying experience - enjoyable! In my 40 years, I've purchased three cars - and two out of those three times - were memorable to say the least - but not in a good way. Karen and Brian from finance were both gems to work with. They were easy to communicate with and I would give them 10 Stars if I could! Paula was the last person I had the pleasure of speaking with before taking my new Civic Sport home. She was extremely pleasant and wanted to assure that my experience was nothing less than perfect every step of the way. She also went the extra mile to ensure that I didn't have any questions relating to functionality of the vehicle before leaving even though I assured her that Karen had taken plenty of time to walk me through everything. Horrible Dishonest Service I had two recent experiences that convinced me never to work with this dealership again. The first was early this year (2019) when I had new tires put I had two recent experiences that convinced me never to work with this dealership again. The first was early this year (2019) when I had new tires put on my 2013 Civic. I negotiated with the dealer for a reasonable price and had the installation done. Two month later one of my tires began to leak regularly. I return to the service station and asked them to investigate. They claimed have done an inspection and that there was no issue. They put air in the tire, and I was on my way. A few days later I was again struck with the same low pressure in the tire. They inspected again and this time determined that the tire was not properly installed, and the leak was due to this issue. They fixed the issue and then proceeded to charge me for the fix, even though they were responsible for the faulty install. They were not willing to stand by their service and were unconvinced to waive the fee even though they were responsible for the original bad installation. The second time I dealt with the service center was to get extended warranty service for a bad original paint job on my 2013 Civic. They were not my first choice, but I needed to go through a Honda dealer, and they are the most convenient location for me. I tried multiple times with multiple calls to the office to get the paperwork done to get the warranty work done. Three weeks later the warranty request still has not been submitted to Honda. The phone rep, Jeannine Belanger, was extremely rude and condescending on the phone with every call. Ken Crawford who took the original pictures never followed through with the process. James McIntyre was rude and dismissive every time I came in the shop to ask for help. Mike Segien couldn't be bothered to return a single call or follow up in any manner. The dealer is fine for a simple oil change, if you come in knowing what you need, but beyond that the team does not want to be bothered with any work that might not be profitable to them. They do shoddy work and inspections. They are very pushy on the upsell of unnecessary flushes and "recommended service" that anyone with a basic knowledge of automobiles knows is garbage. I would not recommend them in any fashion. More
