I am still kicking myself for going through with purchasing a car from this dealership. Starting out, of course everything was great. The rapport was built, just like anyone in sales knows to do. Once I agreed to sign on the dotted line, the dealership’s true colors came out. I made it clear prior to going in that I wanted to talk to the manager about the price and down payment. Upon arrival, I told my sales lady my baby was sleeping and I could come in once she woke up. Somehow she took this as an invitation to get in the car with me to go over things instead of waiting. Once I did go in, I was ushered to the room where I was supposed to sign everything. She completely skipped allowing me to talk to the sales manager like I asked. When I finally snapped out of it, I asked again to speak to him. The cheery demeanor from everyone switched to annoyed and rude. After back and forth with the sales manager about the price, an agreement was reached. I understand haggling is normal, but I made it clear prior to ever going to the dealership that I wanted it simple and easy…no haggling. Something was telling me not to sign, but I stupidly did anyway. Afterwards, we asked about scratches on the outside of the car that we had noticed when I test drove it. We were told we would have to pay to have it fixed, even though we’d brought it up before ever paying or signing. Things only got worse from there, as my car now only has 15,000 miles on it, and I’ve taken it in (to a different dealership) twice. It turns out my car’s windshield was replaced, and it was more than likely in a collision. None of this was disclosed when we purchased it, and it was never shared on CarFax. This dealership is shady, and I would highly recommend NOT purchasing from them or Ed Martin Fishers where they’re also just as shady! More
