Very little communication with the entire team. Called and text on several occasions but no one returned my calls. The deal took too long and my trade has not been paid off! It would have been nice if they told me up front that I would have a hard time buying this car on only my income instead instead of them lying and padding my income thinking Ford would not realize the. would have a hard time buying this car on only my income instead instead of them lying and padding my income thinking Ford would not realize the. Great experience, Jennifer was excellent. Earned a new customer, will definitely return for future service and possibly to purchase a vehicle in the future. Earned a new customer, will definitely return for future service and possibly to purchase a vehicle in the future. More

Elder ford isn’t a bad dealership, your typical dealership. However, the experience I had to go through to get into my new truck nearly had me walking out the door. Positives: they had the truck I dealership. However, the experience I had to go through to get into my new truck nearly had me walking out the door. Positives: they had the truck I wanted in a time where it was tough to time inventory. They also offered a decent financing program that allowed you to purchase the truck, financing it for 75 months, and the first 36 months were discounted at an 18% discount. Similar to a balloon loan which is typically not a good idea, however, this didn’t seem to be the case. You can either trade in the truck at the end of 3 years, refinance at that time, or keep it as is. We’ll see what happens when we reach that point. Now the problem I had was around two things. First, them “discounting” the truck, but then having all of the dealer installed options added to the sticker. Now; it is a law that you must display the sale price online, after all items are added to the vehicle. They did not do this from the start. You can look up the statute. Then, when I’m working with the dealer, the mark ups on these dealer installed options were outrageous. Floor mats: buy them from the service center or online for under $200. Added on at the price of $400. Wheel locks. Can buy them for $60. Added on price of $200. Door protective plastic guards. Can find the quality of what was put on the truck for no more than $20. Add on price was $200. Spray in bedliner, didn’t even mind this but was marked up for $995, and it’s not even a good quality. Was scratched up immediately, unlike the aftermarket x-line you can buy. Then, $600 for 2 windows being tinted with what they claimed to be ceramic tint. Now. Not only did I have to have it replaced from when I bought it and reapplied again, but they wouldn’t give me any kind of other option because it was part of this package. So I go and take my truck to get tinted to my darkness preference. Not only did I have to pay for them to remove the tint to put on the new tint, they told me it WASNT CERMANIC TINT!!!! Then, I just said move along with it. I want the truck. So I get to the finance department to get the numbers finalized. And then here we go with the finance manager trying to get me to buy the extended warranty and the gap insurance. This guy would not let me purchase my truck without saying yes. He tried to call me stupid for not getting it, it was a “no brainer”, he was giving me a discounted price on it, that they don’t make any kind of money on me agreeing to this, and On and on and on. He was going to allow me to walk out without purchasing the truck, than to allow me to purchase the truck without the extended warranty. When I tell you I told this guy more than 50 times that I didn’t want it, and spent more than 2 hours in their offices collectively, I am not kidding. I wish I could remember the name. Then, on top of that, I have to do everything electronically, and didn’t even have time to review the paperwork in detail because the dealership was closing and I have been there that late into the night trying to get into the truck. Then, months later when I was trying to find info to do my taxes, I noticed he has written that I bought the truck with just a couple of miles on it, when I’m reality the truck had over 850 miles on it when I drove it away. ANOTHER scheme. I still don’t have paper documents, all I got was a usb. I’ve been completely hassled into doing things that I didn’t want, and was a victim of price gauging. And they tell me, hey; we’re a business. I’d probably do it all differently if I still had the chance. More
Other than the pressure tactics used by Financing to "encourage" you to purchase an extended warranty, everything else with the sales staff went perfect. "encourage" you to purchase an extended warranty, everything else with the sales staff went perfect. More
