**STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE**SCAMS & LIES** I came in to look at a used Chevy suburban, test drive went fine and pricing was good with me so then we waited 2+ hours finance to call us back. We get in there look at a used Chevy suburban, test drive went fine and pricing was good with me so then we waited 2+ hours finance to call us back. We get in there to sign and GABE our finance guy is trying to upsell us on every “warranty” there is and we kept declining I told him my husband is a mechanic and we don’t need to take it in for oil changes and tire rotations and the only way I would pay for a warranty is if it covered parts and labor for EVERYTHING including but not limited to the motor and transmission. Well, Gabe comes back with a warranty that “Covers everything bumper to bumper including motor and trans replacement or parts and labor” okay great, so I buy that “warranty”. We get home and the next day I go to fill up and I can’t, there’s something wrong with the gas tank vent so I thought it’s fine I have a bumper to bumper warranty! So I call in to get the info on how to use my warranty and the girl that answered says my warranty only covers oil changes and tire rotations, so I tell her what I was told by Gabe and she transfers me to Gabe, he says that he has to look into it and he’ll call me back tomorrow. Tomorrow comes no call, so I call him and he tells me he’s waiting to hear from the “warranty company”. This went on for 2 weeks of me calling him everyday. Finally 3 weeks later he tells me when I call “Yep you have motor and transmission coverage but not gas tank, that’s normal wear and tear” but I was told it was a “bumper to bumper warranty”! So I told Gabe I needed the full paperwork on my warranty sent to me since clearly nothing is making sense and I walked out of the dealership with nothing. He says it has to be mailed and it will be to me in 2 weeks. 3 weeks passed and I’ve gotten nothing so I call into the dealership to see where my paperwork is and the finance manager answers and I’m told Gabe has been fired “for obvious reasons” so I tell her what happened and she says that she can email me the paperwork it dosent need to be mailed and that I only have a warranty that covers oil changes and tire rotations!! She couldn’t help me or come to a resolution or even apologize for the HORRIBLE experience I’ve had here and she’s a manger?! I told her multiple times to transfer me to someone above her and she finally says she will have the general sales manager call me back after asking 20 times for someone else that could actually be helpful, well that was last week and I still haven’t heard from him so I called back today and was told he’ll call me back but going off their track record, I highly doubt that’s going to happen so I wasted $3,000 on OIL CHANGES? That I can do at home?! I’ve been lied to by every single person I’ve talked to at this dealership to the point I don’t even know what the truth is!! This place needs a serious evaluation. I will be reporting to the BBB, DMV & FTC after this review and I encourage everyone else who has had a similar experience to do the same, according to the reviews I’m not the only one this has happened to. Shame on you Elder Ford!!! I have waited 2.5 months for you to make this right and nothing been done! More
