Attentive and thorough I have had experience with service employees at another dealership dismissing what I say and trying to give their own diagnosis before a mechanic even I have had experience with service employees at another dealership dismissing what I say and trying to give their own diagnosis before a mechanic even looks at the car just to rush you through and have you pay the most out of your pocket so they have to pay the least out of theirs. This is my second time at Family Hyundai service, and they did not do that. They patiently listened to everything we had to say, typed in thorough notes (even had us add our own), and said they would let us know once the mechanics were able to look at it. After a few days, they gave us a call with a diagnosis and what the repairs would be. More

I come for services the next day no car an I’m late to work. I call to speak with the service manager who was extremely disrespectful. He says I don’t give out loaner cars unless it’s for 24 hours an what do you want me to do about it i don’t know why she told you that. I said to him he doesn’t have to be so rude an I’d like his name he proceeds to tell me oh my day is fantastic an etc refusing to give me his name. He eventually says micheal an hung up on me. I’ve had my car for 6 years an I’ve always went here to have services done an I’ve always received a loaner car if the service would be longer then three hours. To talk to me with such disrespect an disgust shows that we are nothing but money to them an they don’t care about client satisfaction. He could have simply said I’m sorry mam we don’t offer these services I will inform crystal let me reschedule you. I will never come here again an I will let everyone know not to purchase cars from this establishment. More

This is not made up. Hyundai case # 13205288 Although I eventually did have a really, really good experience with the Family Hyundai dealership, I had to first endure seven weeks of working direc Although I eventually did have a really, really good experience with the Family Hyundai dealership, I had to first endure seven weeks of working directly with the Bluelink team via phone to attempt to solve a problem with my Bluelink remote start not working. I wasted weeks working with Bluelink to solve this problem and the Bluelink team was never able to solve my problem. I previously purchased two Hyundai cars from Family. One for myself and one for my wife. I signed up and paid for Bluelink remote start on Dec 3rd. It did not work right away. I contacted Bluelink per the nav display (1-800 #) and they walked me through various steps on the car which I did perform and Bluelink still did not work. Although I was paying for it during all this cold weather in Chicago, Bluelink remote start was still not working on my car. I went through seven weeks of calls with Bluelink and promises that it will be fixed and that Bluelink engineering is working on it. But, I just kept wasting more hours, days, and weeks. I was continually instructed to work with them and not go to the dealership. A big mistake. Finally after 7 weeks I did call Family and communicated my issue to them. Megan McCampbell at Family Hyundai was a savior! She worked with me, listened to me and cared!! THANK YOU Megan!!! You're great! The problem ended up being a very strange problem with the radio. Megan brought in Tom Salin from Service at Family and Tom was also OUTSTANDING. Thank you Tom!! Megan and Tom were fantastic and I very much appreciate Family Hyundai for how they handled my problem. The radio was eventually replaced and that fixed my problem. But, it took a total of seven weeks of my time. I cannot believe how poor the communication is between the Bluelink team and the dealership (Family Hyundai). Again, if not for Megan and Tom, I would have been very, very disappointed. This short review does not do the problem justice. Megan at Family can go into more detail if you want to know. In case you're wondering why I called Bluelink. My car and my phone both directed me to call the 1-800 Bluelink number instead of Family Hyundai. Again, cudos go out to Megan McCampbell and Tom Salin for listening and finally solving the problem. Also, I don't want to exclude the one mechanic at Family Hyundai who initially looked at the problem and diagnosed what was actually going on. Very competent mechanic. Sorry I can't remember his name. Thank you again to the Family Hyundai team. You guys are very competent. Lastly, is there any chance Family Hyundai can provide some goodwill because of the problems and frustration I incurred over the last couple of months with my Bluelink remote start not working during brutally cold weather. Maybe oil changes or something for my wife and my Sonata cars purchased at Family. Thank you, Mike T More

Tire rotation, oil change and fuel injection flush I made an appointment and got there early was not crowded. Got busy about an hour later. Was there 2/12 hours approximately. No one showed me where it was and they had my keys so even if I found it I couldn’t drive away. Car was not hardly dried at all yet I saw an attendant drieing another car perfectly. This was bar none my very worst experience at Family. This is my third car purchased there and I expected more. More
