When I purchased by Palisade 2/22/2020 I was told I have complimentary maintenance for 3 years or 36k miles. No asterisk or disclaimer was mentioned at the time. On yesterday I was told I had to pay for my complimentary maintenance for 3 years or 36k miles. No asterisk or disclaimer was mentioned at the time. On yesterday I was told I had to pay for my oil change, that the complimentary maintenance was every other oil change due to my living in a “severe weather climate” area. I live in Chicago, not Alaska, Colorado, Montana, the Dakotas, Minnesota! When did Chicago become a severe weather climate area!? This should have been better explained when I purchased my vehicle. The service associate that waited on me yesterday tried to be accommodating by giving me a discount. However, I would’ve preferred “complimentary” which is what I thought I had. More
