My car issues should have been diagnosed the 1st time I brought it in. I don't believe it was even put on the machine. Problem never went away, then the engine light came on. I brought it in again, it sat brought it in. I don't believe it was even put on the machine. Problem never went away, then the engine light came on. I brought it in again, it sat outside for 5 days. Finally it was a throttle issue. So why wasn't it found the 1st time? Because it was NEVER put on the diagnostic machine. The only thing that was accomplished was putting unnecessary miles on my car. Also when I called to find out the status. I was told " I told you when I find out anything I will call. Just drive the loaner". Very rude. Seems like there was no urgency to get to the problem . I was calling to check on status of what was found because no-one was calling me. Poor communication. Plus 69 extra miles, why ? Only 7 extra miles the 1st time I brought it in, 9/24/20 Simple service I would recommend any bigger issues NO. More
The excellent service I receive is the reason I have bought my last 5 cars from Family Hyundai. They always ONLY do what you ask and completely go thru my car and ASK about other needed repairs.. bought my last 5 cars from Family Hyundai. I like the dealership and service department but I just had one recent bad experience with the service department. The service rep told me they could do the repair job, set up the repair drop off date (wh had one recent bad experience with the service department. The service rep told me they could do the repair job, set up the repair drop off date (which was two weeks out and plus they needed to order the parts) but then received a call from the service manager who was verbally attacking me for bringing my car there for the repairs, asking me why I did I bring my new car there and that they were no collision repair company (when in fact I was at the dealer two times prior and was told I could, insurance had been in contact with the dealer to go over the damaged part listings and prices). I told him we both had a lot of questions as to why what's the solution. After that, he was better and hooked me up with a good collision repair company. The manager was a jerk and the service person, Matt, was new and wasn't informed enough. I come to learn he was recently promoted from a porter to a service rep. More
