Hello, my name is Tommy Farruggio, I am the Guest Experience Manager for Ferman Chevrolet of Tampa. I do apologize that General Motors can not honor your warranty and sorry you feel the way you do. The reason being is that you did install an aftermarket intake system and a high flow converter. By doing this you had changed the fuel air mixture with change parameters in the ECM. This changes how the car reacts and can change how the car shifts because of the change of the parameters of the motor. Also when you put a high flow converter it also changes the back pressure of the motor. When you do these types of modifications the ECM has to program to accommodate these performance modifications. These are NOT GM performance parts. They are aftermarket parts that were installed. The ECM needs to have a performance program performed and that will remove the check engine light that is on for the converter and air fuel issue. GM does not have a program for these modifications. If you program the ECM, install aftermarket performance parts it will void out your warranty. All we asked for is you to put it back to stock and we will look at your issue. The parts you put on your car can cause these issues and also cause your check engine light to come on. If I can be of any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact me.
