On July 5, 1995 Ferman Motor Car Company celebrated the 100th Anniversary of its foray into the transportation business when Fred Ferman bought out his partner, and became sole owner of Tampa Cycle Company.

My 2019 Chevrolet Silverado has serious transmission issues as I described to the service tech Tom. At the end of my visit to the service department Rob told me there was nothing wrong with the transmi issues as I described to the service tech Tom. At the end of my visit to the service department Rob told me there was nothing wrong with the transmission. On the receipt it states the tech scanned, no codes, no updated, operating to design at this time. I have owned many vehicles in my lifetime and NEVER have I had a vehicle shift and refuse to downshift like this truck. The transmission makes clunking noise when coming to a stop, it’s hesitates shifting out of 1st gear then slams into 2nd and 3rd gear, when cruising between 55mph and 75mph the truck sounds like the engine is laboring to continue. I am TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY disappointed in the dealership by their explanation “that’s common for this vehicle”, “nothing is wrong.” There is definitely something wrong with the truck and evidently you won’t fix it till it completely fails, which I sincerely hope doesn’t happen when I’m pulling out in front of traffic.
