Worst experience working with a dealer I’ve had! Reached out via phone and Anthony picked up. He went through their typical process and got my information. He asked multiple times if I can come in today, but I said I was over an hour away and simply wanted numbers before coming in. He kept persisting and I felt as though he was disinterested in working with me knowing that I wanted to see numbers first. Asking where I wanted to be, what I thought my car was worth and want I wanted. Trust be told, I wasn’t sure where I wanted to be but it felt like he was qualifying the deal to see if he could make a lot of money off me. As someone that used to work at luxury car dealerships, he epitomized the low-quality experience I’ve heard from many of my previous customers that transitioned to luxury cars. Expecting he would do what he said, several hours went by and no phone call back. So I called back and spoke with another individual who also didn’t call back. The sad part is I was ready to buy a car today and a paid off trade and was paying cash. Train your staff better. Not every customer is naive enough to come in at that exact moment and make an emotional decision. Perhaps Anthony was a BDC employee being paid to set an appointment and doesn’t care about anything but collecting his $25 apt booking fee? Perhaps this is just the ford experience? Perhaps this is the new port richey experience? Regardless, I’ll take my hard earned money to a place that deserves it. More
