Purchased 2016 Impala 05/2021 for $18,500, and an additional “ bumper to bumper” warranty for $3600..Engine failed 12/2021, warranty denied coverage due to sludge buildup. My vehicle has now been at additional “ bumper to bumper” warranty for $3600..Engine failed 12/2021, warranty denied coverage due to sludge buildup. My vehicle has now been at Fred Martin for well over 2 months. My only communication is via text, wich takes days for a single response. From what I’m told Fred Martin isn’t willing to even give me a discount. It’s $4,500 for a “used” engine plus my rental fees is over $7,000 for repairs to a vehicle that I purchased 6 months prior. Legally not obligated maybe, but I certainly hope this is not how you treat your customers. This is the worst business/customer service I’ve experienced in my 46 years of life. With my $6000 down payment and these repairs (7k) I will have $13,000 cash invested and I still owe the full balance of the vehicle!!! Buyers Beware !!!!!!!!!! More

Because of our search for information, we were soon being courted by at least a half dozen Nissan dealers throughout NEO and Western PA. Fred Martin Nissan of Akron contacted us indicating they would be willing to offer a number very close to the value we found on Edmunds which definitely grabbed my attention. Soon I was speaking with Amy Katanic, who instantly made me comfortable by combining good listening skills with her warm personality and professional demeanor. After fielding numerous phone calls, emails, and texts representing other dealers, Martin Nissan quickly acquired the exact Sentra my wife was looking for, and stepped right up with a reasonable deal. After several email exchanges with Amy, we negotiated an even better deal that represented the kind of deal Edmunds.com informed us we should expect. First time in my nearly 50 years of car-dealing that I really felt my time and research were validated! Mary Jo and I were delighted with Amy and the ease of the process! We were also pleasantly surprised that Brandon, who took us through the legal paper work quietly and quickly, did not try to push us into add-ons - that had NEVER happened to us before.
