I had wanted a new Crosstrek but with a 6spd manual transmission. After searching at all the local dealerships I found out how rare finding one with a stick shift was and was told I'd have to wait 3-4 months for one to come in. I called Gary Baumann as my parents had just purchased a car with him and had a very good experience. He managed to find me one and not only that it was in the exact color I wanted and arrived in a week. The whole process more than exceeded my expectations and I am extremely pleased with the car so far. More

Great Dealership and Fantastic People! My 2000 Saturn was costing me a fortune in repairs. But I put off for a long time what I assumed would be the arduous task of finding the right new re My 2000 Saturn was costing me a fortune in repairs. But I put off for a long time what I assumed would be the arduous task of finding the right new replacement car. I was planning to start this (I thought) difficult task sometime in January. I had heard of (and seen) a number of Subaru's in the past few years. But I knew nothing about them really. It was just an idea. I had heard of Garavel Subaru also from a few people over the years. So, I had a few hours free on Friday, November 23. I called them and a very nice woman offered me an appointment that very afternoon. I went down just to 'browse'. CONROY JOHNSON spent a couple hours with me looking at the OutBack and sitting inside the car while I 'peppered him' with questions. And he explained thoroughly the wonderful used car certification program. He was extremely knowledgeable, very patient and very low-key. I made an appointment to come back the next day and test drive the OutBack. I LOVED IT but then realized it was a family-size car and just too big for me. I came back again to look at and test-drive the slightly smaller Forester. CONROY was out sick and SAM MOSCOW filled in for him. Before I drove the Forester, I explained my need for a smaller car. SAM said he knew just the right car for me and showed me a 2017 CrossTrek compact SUV with very low mileage, and covered by three!! separate warranties. He also was very patient with me and answered all my questions. We then took a test-drive and, even though it didn't have all the 'bells and whistles' of the bigger car, I was COMPLETELY sold. We went into the office and signed a sales agreement. I managed to get a Bank Check for the total price and on Friday, November 30 I went back to close the deal. Both Sam and Conroy were there and took care of all the preliminary paperwork for me, including getting my insurance changed over and dealing with the DMV. I quickly had a new Insurance Card and a new Registration. Then they took me to the Business Manager, Jose, who was very pleasant to deal with. He was highly organized, professional, and efficient with all the final paperwork (and there was a lot!). But it was a painless experience. I have been driving my CrossTrek for about 2 1/2 weeks and I TOTALLY love it! ............ In summary, my experience with Garavel was EXCELLENT and I recommend both CONROY JOHNSON and SAM MOSCOW to anyone and everyone. They made my experience very friendly and enjoyable! More
