Since Subaru is a reliable car, I decided that when it was time to pass my car onto my son and get another one, that it would surely be another Subaru, and from Garavel too. This time I bought a Certified pre-owned Outback. Although used, it is an upgrade from what I had, with less miles and more features. I received great service from Gary Baumann, my sales guy, and Tom Nerreau in the finance office. You can be assured of having a great car buying experience here. More

We had a bit of a time crunch and Sam managed it well for us. He threw in the privacy screen and helped us make sure the tail light cover was fixed at no cost to us. The folks in the Used Car building were awesome as well — Very helpful, very personable. We threw some curveballs at them and they just took it all in stride (random test drives, voicemails, questions, emails, etc). The folks in the New Car showroom were helpful and polite. The vibe was definitely different than the Used Car building up the hill (more business-like and under pressure if you will). Better than a lot of other dealerships that we visited though, and we are glad we went with Garavel. It would have been nice to know how much the Bumper to Bumper Warranty was going to be prior to going into finance. The way it ended up, it felt like one of those high pressure sales tactics, and honestly it didn’t need to be that way. Could have easily told us the pricing options when we were first looking at the car and we would have probably been more receptive to the idea and had been more prepared to crunch the numbers before deciding. I get that that tactic works and gets you all numbers, but it left us with a bad taste in our mouths, and again, it just didn’t have to be that way. We also spent a good deal of time fixing inaccuracies on paperwork while going through finance process. Probably could have afforded to take a minute before sitting down with us or asking for specific information earlier in the process to make that less painful of a process for all parties. Joe and Elena were helpful as well in their respective roles. Look forward to working with them more. Overall, pleased with our experience. Happy with our first Subaru and happy to be a part of the Subaru family. Would recommend over other Subaru dealerships in the area. More
