GREAT EXPERIENCE, GREAT STAFF! For the past couple decades, I turned to CarMax as my vendor for new-to-me vehicles. But here in Paulding County, my new home, the Hardy name is gold For the past couple decades, I turned to CarMax as my vendor for new-to-me vehicles. But here in Paulding County, my new home, the Hardy name is golden. First I reviewed available vehicles via the very easy to use website and narrowed it down to two or three SUVs. My sales representative Santos called me in the morning and established a convenient appointment, and patiently showed me options within Hardy's well-organized lot. After test-driving two of my three picks, I went with my first original choice (the Kia Sportage). The business end of the process was also very simple and Dennis the manager was efficient and patient. My vehicle was ready for me to drive home in under two and a half hours! I did have to go back to the dealership about 9 days after purchase because I didn't fully understand the technology of the key fob in terms of locking the vehicle. As I explained when I called in a panic, I would exit the car, press the lock button, and walk toward my destination... only to realize that none of the doors were staying locked. The service manual was no help and lacked specific instruction. But in about 90 seconds one of the service personnel was able to demonstrate the distance you should be from the vehicle before engaging the lock feature - problem solved! So the only recommendation I would have for the sales personnel is don't assume that somebody 60 and over is going to understand this newfangled keyless entry technology! And I love my car so much when I go to lock it at night my first inclination is to hug it while I'm pressing the buttons. Lesson learned, and I can't express how much I enjoy this vehicle and the fact that Hardy Superstore treats their customers like neighbors! More
