Found and Bought a Car Here Yesterday I've been driving a twelve year old convertible Toyota Solara with almost 200,000 miles because Toyota stopped making ragtops. Loved my car but accepted it was time for a replacement. Tried out many possibilities: Buick makes an imitation Solara that is ugly inside; the MiniCooper is too small and, to me, the MB is the most beautiful of the Audi, BMW, MB trio of cabriolets. Six months ago I almost bought a MB convertible at the MB closest to where I live, but the salesperson demonstrated all the negative features of a caricatured used-car salesman. Still needing a new car, I've been looking at the CPO listing on the MB website. Seeing a pale silver E350 Cabriolet with red seats (though I really wanted a white car) and acceptable mileage, I thought it worth a look though it was at a dealer an hour's drive away. Everything about Helms Bros. surprised me in a good way. Though Bayside is a congested area of Queens, the dealership has convenient parking and even well-tended flower planters by their doors. Inside, the marble floors and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. Everyone I dealt with, by phone or in person, was friendly and gracious. I was impressed that there are at least three women on their sales staff as well as both men and women who are bilingual to serve the area's Korean population. Maurice Martin is the man who worked with me and I recommend him to you if you want to be treated with gracious respect and no-pressure help; I felt as if I was conferring with a diplomat rather than haggling with a used car salesman and we soon easily closed the deal. Thanks to Maurice and Helms Bros. I'm now driving the car of my dreams. More

Upon entering the Helms Bros dealership friendly faces greet you, offering assistance immediately. We met with Jennifer in management who introduced us to Maurice, stating he would take good care of us. Indeed he took exceptional care in showing us our options in both new and pre-owned vehicles. Maurice was kind, knowledgeable, patient, and organized. He took care of the sale from soup to nuts. He contacted our insurance company, helped se tup my I-phone to remotely start my NEW car and spent a significant amount of time orienting me to my car, even though I had an older model Mercedes, the new technology can be confusing. Maurice made sure all my questions were answered. I will continue to use Helms Bros. for servicing both of our Mercedes vehicles. Thank you Maurice and the entire Helms Bros staff!! More

Normally we use a dealer closer by (Rallye) for service issues since it's easier for me to get there and back, but I went with the suggestion. So glad I did! Carmine Gonzalez had my tires replaced in less than a day, had the car washed before I even asked and then had a shuttle come get me while my kids were in camp...my husband was so impressed that we will be going to Helms for our service needs going forward even though it's not that close to home.
