Last Saturday I went to the service shop for maintenance on my Mazda 6 2016 for which I own $18,000 to the bank and I have $413 monthly payments. These people were follow me pressuring me to sign a new purchase for a Mazda 6, 2019, saying that I will have the same monthly payments of $420 (which was a lie). They pressured me so much that they gave me the car to drive it home to show it to my wife. My wife and I compared our Mazda with this new one and realized there was no need for exchange our car, and that the promised monthly payment of $420 for the 2019 was fake. I went back to the dealer to returned the car and pick up mine from the mechanic, but the manager and sales person were insisting me to buy other cars. I went home and they were calling me to come back to test drive other cars, that they have other good deals for me. I went back around 7 pm, it was almost closing time. They insisted me to buy other cars for which I didn't agree on the price, so they kept insist showing me other cars making me confused on what I was signing for. But always telling me that the price will be around $420. At the end I got home with a new debt that I didn't want for a car that I don’t like, and I didn’t need for a monthly payment that was much more ($520). After I signed the contract and stop having that pressure over me to buy, I realized that it was a big mistake. I even told the finance personal that I was not happy with the purchase. I called the manager several times without response. They never stop the process of the purchase, they submitted the financing to the bank knowing that I didn’t WANT the car; they tell me they will call me to see how they can help me, but they never did so. I tried to return the car on Monday and I kept calling the same people that were calling me several times before signing the purchase, but they never answer or called me back this time. Of course, they got my money!!!! They don’t need nothing else from me after signing for whatever they sold me. I took Uber’s to work to not use the car, and my wife took it back to the dealer on Tuesday because we don’t like the car and the price. They even added and extended warranty on a new car which we don’t need! I expected some responsibility from the manager to help me returning this car, but everybody there are liars and very dishonest. More
Best Car Buying Experience Ever i did a lot of homework pre-visit to Hiley. i had scoured all sorts of websites, reading reviews, checking pricing, looking at list after list. when i did a lot of homework pre-visit to Hiley. i had scoured all sorts of websites, reading reviews, checking pricing, looking at list after list. when i finally had decided to make the move i contacted four different dealerships. i knew what i wanted in a vehicle and found the one i wanted online. before i even went in to buy i stopped in to Hiley just to ask questions. when i got there, Carlos met me at the door and introduced himself by his first name. i already knew his last name from coming here to DealerRater.com. he seemed surprised that i knew his last name. we talked for a bit. Carlos was patient, understanding, helpful, and gave me his business card. i knew the next time i saw him it would be to buy my car. i showed up today with everything i could need. you could say i was a committed buyer with just a need to fill out the paperwork. i mentioned to him that salesmen generally do everything they can to make sure the sale goes through as painlessly and smooth as possible. my goal was to provide that same courtesy for the dealership. Carlos took the time to answer even more questions, did the test drive (which was the first REAL test drive i've taken with a dealership). usually it's a one square mile around a block and then back into the parking lot. we got the car out on the highway and Carlos wanted me to really get a feel for the car and you don't get that just driving around a block. i was there working with finance (Sarah did an awesome job as well) long after the dealership closed. Carlos waited patiently and then after congratulating me, spent another 15 minutes just going over all the "how-to's" of the car. fantastic service and a fantastic day. i'm SO SO SO happy. thank you Carlos and thank you Hiley!! More

I finally found what I wanted at Hley Mazda at a substantial savings. I live in San Antonio and they did everything by phone. All I had to do was drive up there, sign the papers, and drive off. Gary Powell was my salesman. He was very helpful, not aggressive, professional and friendly. The whole staff including service and the credit manager were wonderful. I highly recommend Hiley Mazda. I am extremely happy with my candy apple red 2019 Mazda Miata X-5. More

Exceeded my expectations! Easy! I went car shopping for the first time since 2005 partly because I hated the car buying experience. I found the car online, Greg Powell contacted me and I told him about my distaste about shopping for a car. I expressed that as long as I had a pleasant and quick experience, I would come see the car. He assured me that this would occur. When I arrived he had the car up front ready for me and took it out for a test drive. During the ride he just let me experience the ride, we talked about sports and just asked if I liked it. I ended up liking it and the price advertised. He set me up with paperwork needed to be ready for finance. Doing this only had me with finance for 15 mins! I don't remember the guy in finance but he was great as well. It was late in the evening and I didn't have someone to driving me back home with the new car but Greg offered to drive the car to my house which was 25 miles away. I did drive him back but since he was such a good guy we talked sports on the way back so I didn't mind at all. I definitely recommend Hiley and Greg! More
A Mazda compact for more than a BMW? I don't think so. I spent months reviewing, viewing and test driving new SUV's. In the end I decided that the CX-5 was the vehicle for me. I was ready to sign on the do I spent months reviewing, viewing and test driving new SUV's. In the end I decided that the CX-5 was the vehicle for me. I was ready to sign on the dotted line and make my purchase. However Hiley's unwillingness to negotiate prices changed my mind. They basically said they sell at manufacturer's price only, with a take or leave it attitude......so I left it. I'm no novice, having bought several new vehicles in my time. I also have outstanding credit (or enough money to simply pay cash). Yet I have never before now run into a dealership that simply refused to negotiate price. Hiley's decision to not sell left me no choice but to seek another, more reasonable dealer. In the end I was able to negotiate a much, much better deal on a true luxury vehicle. I negotiated for a new BMW X1 AWD with added options (navigation, sport seats, heated seats/steering, etc) for a price that was lower than Hiley asked for a compact Mazda. Let that sink in for a moment. And not just less than the CX-5 Signature, we bought a brand new BMW for less than Hiley's CX-5 Reserve asking price, at about the MSRP for a CX-5 Grand Touring AWD. My guess is that Hiley will need a 'fire sale' at year's end to move these vehicles. Vehicles that they could have sold for more if they had only been willing to negotiate a reasonable price. In fact they still show 100's of last year's 2018 models still sitting in stock, probably due to these same 'no deal' tactics. They lost a 'for sure' customer here. More

I visited numerous dealerships, including this one, looking at used cars. My visit here definitely stood out as it was a calm, quiet and clean environment; the staff (Zach) was friendly, helpful and not pushy. I finally decided to return and purchase new from this location. When I did, Zach was again, very helpful, friendly and didn't try to rush, push or upsell. Jeff in the Finance department was incredibly helpful, friendly and respectful throughout the process. Asking price was fair and they were willing to work with me to get a bit closer to what I was looking to pay. Overall, it was a relatively simple, easy process. Would definitely recommend this location and these staff members. More
