If you take out a loan and plan to pay the entire amount off right away, do it right away! My first payment was due on 7-22, so I thought that's when I would pay off the entire amount. However when I pa off right away, do it right away! My first payment was due on 7-22, so I thought that's when I would pay off the entire amount. However when I paid it all off (before 7-22), my loan of 21,000.00 now had increased to 21,132.xx .... I was paying 132.xx in interest... I figured the interest wouldn't start til after 7-22....I was naive. I wish the finance dept would have explained that better to me....or I would have asked when interest starts. More
