Was told by sales person my 2008 Solara convertible with 18'500 mile. Was worth $ 21,000 on autotrader cash that they would buy it for. The sales manger said they make a mistake and would not give me the $21,000 for my car. They tried playing the good cop bad cop on me. I would be very careful dealing with these kind of people. After the required bargaining, I got a fully loaded car at a price I was willing to pay, and the dealership got to sell the same car twice, a win -win all around. I am sure I will be a happy camper as soon as we figure out how to work all those extra do-dads.. I came to the dealership to buy a used car. I purchased a used 2006 Rav4. My experience with the dealership upon purchase was a lot of what you would expect from a used car dealership they used manipulati a used 2006 Rav4. My experience with the dealership upon purchase was a lot of what you would expect from a used car dealership they used manipulating tactics and had a condescending attitude as if I didn't know what I was doing during the transaction. I just wanted to car, so I eventually got out of this. Within two months my car engine overheated without any indication from my car that it was getting hot. Needless to say they sold me a car that was a dud. When I called to let them know they merely said "sucks for you, you didn't buy a warranty." I think the best part was when I wrote a rating on their website along side all the comments about them being so great. I went back to the website a week later and they had deleted my comment. I guess they aren't very concerned actually making people happy, only that it looks like people are happy. Hyundai has lost a customer for life (I am now driving a new 2012 Corolla, no more messing with used cars!). More

We went to the dealer in Vero Beach and saw that they had added on an extra $4,500 to the sticker price for "availability" and "dealer prep". We went back to Edmonds and expanded our dealer search area, hit enter and within five minutes received a call from Randy Selph at St. Augustine Hyundai. I told him exactly what I wanted, agreed on a price for my trade in and proceeded from there. He had the car trucked in to his dealership from the dealer just up the way from me that didn't answer my first quote request. Randy found $1,400 in dealer discounts that were available at the time. The car that he found had some extras on it that I didn't need and he included them in the original price. The price that I was quoted by Randy originally was "out the door", tax, tags, title, everything and it never changed as the process continued. When we picked up the car, everything went smoothly. In two hours we were on our way. Trade in accepted, finance set up completed, instructional demonstration of the car's systems given (even setting up my phone and my wife's phone for the cars bluetooth), and a full tank of gas. A follow up call the next day to see if there was anything additional that we needed. Everyone at the St. Augustine dealership that we came in contact with were pleasant and helpful. It was well worth the 300 mile round trip to purchase this car and would not hesitate recommend the St. Augustine Hyundai dealersip to anyone in Florida who is in the market for a new Hyundai. More
My wife and I had a very pleasing experience over two days and purchased a 2013 Elantra GLS with all options. I had been checking cars on Edmunds.com and requested a quote on the Hyundai Tucson. Shortly we received a call from Roosevelt said to ask for him when we came in. Roosevelt is very low-key but extremely knowlegible about all the cars, and worked up a very fair quote for our trade-in and explained the veteran's $500 rebate for which I was eligible. Hyundai was highly recommended by a local friend who recently purchased an Elantra Limited and is very pleased with the car and service received. Another strong recomendation came from my son in New England who owns a Genesis and bought an Elantra GLS for his daughter. Richard and Eugenie Louttit More
I bought my car from a used car dealer in Valdosta, GA., who had bought it at an auction in FL. I happened to check my oil one day & it was almost dry. I called Hyundai of SA & spoke w/Debbie Girdwood. She who had bought it at an auction in FL. I happened to check my oil one day & it was almost dry. I called Hyundai of SA & spoke w/Debbie Girdwood. She asked if I could bring the car in now & I was able. Cory checked it out & serviced my 2008 Sonata. I went on a trip of ~500 miles, round, & checked the oil afterwards, it was a little low. Dye was put in the oil to try to identify where the oil was going.After talking w/Debbie, we started documenting the usage. Debbie spoke w/tech line. It was decided that every 1,000 miles I would have the oil checked & documented. Cory was/is my service technician & there was a definite pattern. After ~4 months, Debbie spoke w/tech line again & they recommended the head be replaced. Cory removed the head, (I'm not mechanical, so I apologize for incorrrect terms & sequence) & found there was a ridge & that is where the oil was burning. Debbie & Cory spoke w/tech line about this & they were told to replace the whole engine. I was given a new loaner to drive. I felt safe in this car. I am totally satisfied & happy with my experiences at Hyundai of SA. I have recommended the dealership to many people. I also will be taking my 2006 Honda Element to Hyundai of SA to be serviced. My deceased husband owned 3 dealerships in Valdosta, GA, Honda, Isuzu, & BMW. His dealership often won awards for their sales & service departments. I feel like I'm at home with Hyundai of SA. More
