5 Star Warranty When we purchased the car we bought the 5 Star program. My only complaint is that it took almost three hours till the tire repair was done. More
2 hour oil change w/ appt. Had an appointment for an oil change and have the service plan but twice I was discouraged to have the oil changed because according to them new cars Had an appointment for an oil change and have the service plan but twice I was discouraged to have the oil changed because according to them new cars don't go by the typical 3k mile oil change intervals, just the life or the quality of the "nutrients" in the oil. The computer said the "life" of the oil was at 60% and the service gal said it could go for a lot longer w/o an oil change. And what about the filter? What kind of BS is this? Do they know if these miles are highway or in congested traffic? I bought the service plan so I can have the oil changed whenever I feel it needs to be changed. I find a 2 hour wait for an oil change, with an appointment mind you, excessive. They said it was because of washing and vacuuming. Well, they only vacuumed the front so...Not impressed at all. More
Somewhat Satisfied I had an issue with my 2018 MDX. I got in it to start it up for my trip to work. When I pushed the Ignition button, the displays on the dashboard look I had an issue with my 2018 MDX. I got in it to start it up for my trip to work. When I pushed the Ignition button, the displays on the dashboard looked like a Vegas Slot Machine Winner. It would not start. I called Acura Help Desk and they dispatched a Towing Service. I called Jackson Acura and spoke with Brittiany Byas. She said that the battery was more than likely the issue. She advised me to jump the battery, and if this worked, drive it in to Jackson Acura and they would swap the battery. It worked, so I drove to Jackson Acura and Brittiany checked me in. She said it would be about an hour to install a new battery. I asked if the Service Tech could also reinstall the engine cover. Good news was it took less than an hour and I was on my way. When I got to my office, I see the Engine Cover in my backseat. I am no mechanic, but I thought it can't be that difficult to reinstall the Engine cover. I was wrong. So for now, the Engine Cover is stored in my garage. More
