Until recently I would have called myself a reasonably satisfied customer but now will not consider the Acura or Honda brand for another purchase, ever. In fall 2022 we noticed peeling paint on the roof o satisfied customer but now will not consider the Acura or Honda brand for another purchase, ever. In fall 2022 we noticed peeling paint on the roof of my 2014 MDX; ironically a recall to repair the manufacturer defect expired a few months prior (and we never got the notice). After seven months of back and forth between my dealer, Acura and Honda, the companies made the decision to NOT honor the warranty and I am stuck with a used car that requires almost $2,000 worth of paint repair FOR THEIR MANUFACTURER DEFECT. So, if you're considering the brand, I highly suggest you beware. If it happened to me, it can happen to you - and the dealership will not go to bat for you. More
