To start out, I won't say that I wouldn't recommend James Wood Motors for service ... maybe it was an "off week" for them. Long story short, I took my vehicle in to get looked at as it had some electrical is Wood Motors for service ... maybe it was an "off week" for them. Long story short, I took my vehicle in to get looked at as it had some electrical issues and I was going to go ahead and get an oil change while it was being looked at. I brought the vehicle in on a Monday morning. I knew it would be there for at least a day or two, but by that Thursday, I still had not heard anything about the truck. I called that morning and didn't receive a call back. I called later that evening and my service manager was gone, so i asked to leave a note to be called first thing on Friday. I didn't hear anything and finally connected with my service manger later that afternoon, who stated the vehicle was ready. Fine. No problem. They had given me a loaner vehicle, so i chalked the truck being there so long and no word on it as "bygones". Well, I get my truck and the oil obviously had been changed, but that felt like that was it. It said they did a multi-point inspection to go along with the oil change, but when receiving my truck, my windshield wiper washer area was bone dry - just like it was when I brought it in. No topping off of any fluids, what so ever. Tack on a tire rotation, which I "think" was completed. But, when completed, they didn't even look at my PSI on the tires and of course I drove off the lot after getting my truck, with all four tires at least 4-5 PSI lower than what they should have been. I guess, don't say you completed a multi-point inspection, if you aren't going to do the basic multi-point inspections. To me, it's like ordering french fries from a drive thru and the employees not adding any ketchup to my bag. I shouldn't have to ask for ketchup. I shouldn't have to ask that my tires are inflated and my washer fluid topped off. Would I come back? Doubtful, just because Decatur is quite the drive for me. But, they were willing to offer me a loaner, and I did appreciate that very much. I guess if I were to look at coming back, i would just ask if they are planning to air up my tires (if low) and/or top off my fluids (if low). More
