That was the easiest vehicle transition I’ve ever had! Bob was wonderful to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful. I really want to be happy with this transaction but it’s been a mess from the start with no effort to rectify it. I have made attempts to allow Belzers to correct this and they have failed. To start, I am shown a Carfax which suggested the vehicle had some external scuffs. “No big deal; that will be taken care of” I am told by the sales guys. Moving forward, during the purchasing process I had a high pressure kid try to talk me into a bunch of packages - weather protection and all of that. No big deal, I said no and attempted to move on. He continued to pressure me until I finally got him to back off when I agreed to discuss it further with the financial guy who would show me both pricing options (with and without). Move on to financial guy only to learn that packages guy said I had agreed to an expensive package and this was already rolled into all of the paperwork/payment. Now I look like a jerk when I ask for the the paperwork to be redrawn. Unacceptable. I purchased my truck prior to it having been detailed. I had to schedule that at a later date. This detail would be both in and out”. Including repair of the scuffs, which I clarified at the closing of the deal. No big deal. Except they couldn’t get me in for weeks. Fine. I am traveling and working from home so driving very little anyway. Finally bring it in. I am excited to finally pick up a shiny clean “new” truck. I go pick it up only to find that the “used to new detail” looks like it was accomplished by my 7 year old. There were smudges everywhere, the bed wasn’t touched, the floor mats weren’t removed, the decals and adhesive from the previous owner were untouched. There was tar all over the rocker panels (again all from when I purchase it), untouched. I am not even sure they ran a vacuum. Horrible. And the blemishes on the truck that I was told would be taken are of? Ha!! I raised my concerns with Belzers and was brushed off. When I then went back to the sales guy I was told that in order for them to fix the blemishes that would have had to have been written up and signed off my management prior to the deal… and I would know this why? I was told “it would be taken care” and trusted that word. Never did I realize I had to be the one to say, “let’s get management approval and write that up”. Lesson learned. Belzers you should be ashamed of yourselves. I am embarrassed for you that you would turn a vehicle over in this condition and the bait and switch behavior by your front end won’t be forgotten. Also, take note of all of the replies/feedback to the positive reviews on the dealer site. No replies or attempts at redemption on anything negative. This should tell you something. I will not recommend Belzers and regret my purchase. Do NOT recommend. More
