Never Again Applied online. Received a call from Laron asking when I could come in. Because it is a 90 minute drive, I asked to have my credit run and approved. L Applied online. Received a call from Laron asking when I could come in. Because it is a 90 minute drive, I asked to have my credit run and approved. Laron returned and assured me that I had been approved for $25,000 and that all I needed to do was to test drive the pickup I was looking at. More than once during the call I was told by Laron to ask for him when I came in for my scheduled appointment. I asked how long it would take and he assured me we could have it done in an hour. We showed up for the appointment with 2 grandchildren, a 3 year old and a 2 year old, asking for Laron. I was informed that he was in the business end and that someone else would be helping me. Then we were asked to go through the whole application process again, duplicating what was done online 2 days earlier. Then we were approached by a person who identified as “one of the sales VPs” who informed us that he would be running a credit application (something Laron had assured me was already done). At this point we had tried to keep 2 young kids from going crazy for the last hour or more. Asking how long this would take we were told 10 or 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I went and asked how much longer it would be and was told with an unprofessional attitude “I can stop right now if you’d like”. I decided that we would leave and get the kids something to eat. The “VP” assured my wife that he would call us when the approval came back, that it wouldn’t be much longer. He also stated we would get a call even if declined. We fed the kids and then wasted time waiting on the call before giving up and heading home. 6 hours out of my day wasted That was Saturday. Today is Wednesday and I still have had no call from anyone at Jeremy Franklin. This makes me question how honestly customers and potential customers are treated. Reviewing my interactions with this business, I cannot remember anything remotely resembling honesty. To quote Forrest Gump, RUN FORREST, RUN. RUN AWAY.i More
