Sales person was good. But after I bought it and got home I noticed that a wheel was missing a hubcap and there were no floor mats. Buying experience at Jerry Ulm is ok, at best. The used cars have seen some wear and tear for sure. My vehicle I purchased has quite a few scratches and chips, and was priced similarly to others i The used cars have seen some wear and tear for sure. My vehicle I purchased has quite a few scratches and chips, and was priced similarly to others in the area. I purchased because I did like the car, and the color was my first choice. The car was not cleaned on the inside when I purchased, I left it there after signing paperwork for roughly 4-5 hours and all they did was clean the outside (that was cleaned nicely), the inside had trash, dirt in center console and door panels. The car came with 1 key and the salesman said he would reach out about the second key and text me so I have his contact info (he told me he would text me twice so I'd have it, I never got a text). The salesman was nice and friendly but they are pushy at Jerry Ulm. Jerry Ulm also pulls a bait-and-switch tactic to their customers. They have a low advertised price online for their used cars and say it includes everything except dealer doc fee of $999 (crazy), taxes, tags, registration, $1,999 LoJack. But when you get there they say the price online for a used car is with military. I have never heard of a dealer giving a military discount on a used car, new yes, but used no. Plus, the website disclaimer for the pricing doesn't say this. I told the salesman I didn't want LoJack because I didn't want to spend $2k for it. He told me all the cars come with it and they can't remove it. That is a terrible tactic to play on consumers. I did not want it, I should not have to pay for it. It's like going to a rental car center and telling them you don't want their damage waiver and they tell you that it isn't optional and you must pay $30 a day for it. I kind of fought that and Jerry Ulm removed that fee. The car does have some issues like the rear door hinge pops, I am not too concerned with this. But, the price online may look good, but their cars are not the same quality as others and they will jack that price up when you get there. Shady. Overall, I am happy with my car, but it was a poor experience. More
