Your appointment time is set aside for you to speak with your service advisor to set a game plan for your vehicle while it's in our care. From there your vehicle waits in line for the next appropriate service technician. We normally quote 90 mins to 2 hours for our oil changes. Hi David, it is great hearing back from JB a few weeks after the review. Thank you for the interestingly worded reply. We attempted to discuss communication shortfalls with service leadership during our 11 calendar day experience with JB. Any reply to our voicemails or messages left with the service desk admin. would have been a great opportunity for us to discuss any misconceptions we may have about what an experience with the JB service looks like. These messages and requests should have been received around day 7 or 8.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. During my investigation I learned that the cause of your vehicle's concern was due to an issue from an aftermarket part from the previous owner. GM does not cover repairs for issues due to aftermarket parts. This is why your rental was not covered by GM. We encourage you to reach out to Sunset Ford for reimbursement of the charges to your card because they were the sellers of the vehicle. Had you purchased Jim Butler, we would have been able to do more. It is our understanding that you obtained a second opinion that was very similar ours. We wish you the best in your endeavors.

As I stated & you reiterated in your response the cause of the problem was an aftermarket part installed by the previous owner not covered by GM. Where the REAL issue lies is in the false statements issued by both your service advisor & rental agent that put us in the rental car to begin with. Whether it was stated incorrectly or out of intential deceit does not change the fact that we were advised by Jim Butler employees that GM had agreed to cover the costs of the rental. We never would have given up our previous free of charge rental for one of inferior quality that we would have to pay for. At the time of signing the rental agreement there was no charges indicated on the agreement other than a $6 per gallon charge for fuel which we did pay for. I will continue to dispute the charge for $1020 as well as make as many people aware of the type of unprofessional service to expect from Jim Butler. I have detailed written notes as well as some audio recordings relating to this issue. I have already notified a friend that purchases mutliple business vehicles at a time from you & many others that have purchased from you in the past. I can guarantee that this unauthorized $1020 charge will cost Jim Butler more in the long run. Do better. GMC Customer Care also stated that they could have done rental reimbursement if we would have rented from anyone besides Jim Butler.
