After receiving a recall letter from Chevrolet concerning my 2015 Volt, I made an online appointment at Jim Butler in Fenton through the My Chevrolet app. That went smoothly, and I received an email confirmation of the appointment. When I arrived for my appointment it was clearly very busy at the service bay and it took approximately 20 minutes to check in. When I finally did meet with my service rep. Mike Johnson, I was told that designated Volt service techs were busy with work and that I would have to leave my car for 3 days before the software update could be performed. That was unacceptable. Mike did agree to have the service dept. call me back in when the update could be performed and this did happen 2 days later without problem. That visit was smooth, with fast check-in and prompt service. However my initial appointment, trip to the dealership, and lengthy initial check-in were totally unnecessary, and a big waste of my time. A simple phone call to let me know the techs were backed up was all that was needed. Not sure if there is a "who" to blame but certainly there is some process improvement needed. More

Figured since I had time to kill, I’d inquire on trading in my vehicle for something new. Well, after one of the best experiences from both Brian Ries and Kelly Roussin on a great deal (according to EVERYONE I’ve told of the experience) I left with a new 2019 Trax. When I bought my first Jim Butler car I swore they’d have my business and they did. And hopefully I’ll get others to give them THEIR business. More
Just 1 hour wait time. Check in went very quickly and lady (Kim) at the counter answered any questions I had. I went in for tire rotation and oil change. Takes FOREVER My appointment was at 12 pm I got there at 11:40 and sat in my car for a good 10 minutes until someone finally checked me in. I then was there for 3 h My appointment was at 12 pm I got there at 11:40 and sat in my car for a good 10 minutes until someone finally checked me in. I then was there for 3 hours and 10 minutes.... I was getting an oil change and tire rotation. That is the longest it has ever taken me. The workers were also very moody that day. You could tell they were frustrated since a lot of the customers were getting mad, but they should not let the customers know they are mad or frustrated. I have never had a problem there before. More
