We routinely dropped in just to say hello and were always greeted warmly. Until recently I considered Jim Coleman my dealership for life. Backstory is my son brought my car in for a “check engine” light a few days ago. He had the “error code” from the State Emissions. The technician diagnosed a dirty sensor in the engine air filter compartment and laid the blame on the independent company that changed my oil. Because the technician considered the sensor “damaged” (not faulty) my President’s Club and extended warranty did not apply. Price to fix was $500. I said no. They charged me (through my son) $175 for the diagnosis!! I emailed the Director of Client Services, the lead service manager and twice called the person who told me he is my personal service representative. Not one person has wrote me or called me back to discuss! This is a trend. Two years ago the Service department manager told me I was lying about some damage to my new car!! I was stunned. Last year I brought my car in to have a tire fixed (erroneously thinking my President’s Club covered it). When I picked the car up and found out it wasn’t covered… no problem. I whipped out a $20 (the cost at other tire companies) and was told the dealer cost was $85!! While some of the issues can be misunderstandings that I believe can be worked out with conversation it seems they just are no longer interested in conversation… or in my continued business. It pains me greatly but they have lost my confidence and I can no longer give them my business or my unqualified recommendation. More

Your better off just not purchasing from them period, if you do have a mechanic ready. Piss poor customer service. It’s super convenient for them to be extremely vague on the “warranties” they offer I’ll just leave it at that. They Truly tarnish the reputation I thought Honda strives for.
