Below average post sale service We purchased a 2018 Chevy High Country deisel truck last week. We began talking and agreed on the truck and price on Tuesday for a Friday delivery. We purchased a 2018 Chevy High Country deisel truck last week. We began talking and agreed on the truck and price on Tuesday for a Friday delivery. Michael Austin was our sale person. We cannot recommend him. We opted to purchase the paint and leather protection package. This was to be applied prior to delivery of the truck. IF it was applied, they did not clean the truck well inside or out prior to applying the protection. This resulted in dirt being sealed in. The second issue was the truck only had one key and one remote. I asked 3 times during the paperwork process for him to check for the other set, only after asking a 4th time, did he go to see if they had the other set. They did not. Michael told us that they vendor for keys/remotes in onsite every Thursday around 1 and that we would have to bring the truck back then. We live over an hour away so this is a major inconvenience to just bring the truck in. He did not care about this. He knew we were purchasing the truck on Tuesday with Friday delivery so had plenty of time on the Thursday to ensure both keys/remotes were with the truck. Our next issue with him was when we went to leave with the truck, there were no floor mats. He asked, do you need floor mats, the carpet is black. When we insisted on floor mats, be was not helpful and asked if we cared if he gave us GMC mats. We did, we paid a large price for the truck and expected it to come with the proper mats that belong and fit the truck properly. He then went walking around the lot to see what he could find. He came back with some dirty, generic floor mats from some other truck on the lot. Last, today, the Thursday following our purchase, we reached out to Michael to verify the key vendor was onsite and ensure we were not wasting 2 hours driving. He never replied. we reached out to him at 10am, it is now pushing 4:30pm. Guess we will have to wait another week. The other aspects of the purchase were positive. The dealership was clean, and the staff was pleasant and helpful- even to our kids. The finance gentleman was great- he went above what he needed to do to ensure we got the best rate. More
